But Giorgio didn’t really understand the magnitude of what he had gotten himself into until he received the most terrifying letter he had every received. It came delivered by a state officer: he was being sued by the state under the latest revisions of the Treason Act.
It was clear now, they were going to make an example out of him.
Sam had warned him this could happen, but he just hadn’t been willing to let it go: The public needed to know. They would finally CARE enough to ACT.
Now all the accurate reporting he had spent years gathering had been deleted from any inch of the web under Goobook’s endless domain. And any information regarding his upcoming “temporary arrest” would be shadowbanned in all media except for censorship resistant ones like Nostr, the only place Giorgio’s reporting remained immutable for the world to read, watch or listen.
So he decided he had 14 days to make A LOT OF NOISE.”
