OpenSats grants are usually one-off for developers leading to most successful projects being killed off before reaching maturity.

They also restrict what you can do with your grant money that significantly reduces the rate projects can get developed.

They also pressure you into not speaking out about them and try to control you since they can cut off your future grants.

And the list of people deciding grants is not lacking of huge amounts of conflicts of interests with competing products or financial interest in those competing products.

Important projects have not been funded again due to bogus reasons even though they are succeeding, and the LTS grants priority list seems fucked.

All while they keep pushing you VC funded clients (with no actual path to profitability) they have financial interest in and that is designed to cement their influence (trending and similar)
