Yeah, I can see how this would be a problem. A lot of antiparasitics (ivermectin, albendazole) are being repurposed as antineoplastic agents because they impair mitochondrial metabolic pathways (cancer cells have enormous energy consumption requirements)
Something that increases mitochondrial count and productivity would be a bad, bad idea if you have:
>a known indolent cancer
>a strong family history of cancer
>a high risk profile (smoker)
