clove is the best- sometimes you can buy clove oil but if not- squish the clove and wrap it in a warm wet paper towel & set it on your tooth.
Peppermint tea bags work too, but not as well as clove.
The Greeks used thyme, but I never have. It’s supposed to help with pain as well.
