and that's precicely why I think that ChatGPT will never create on the level of humans and by extension is no threat to humanity in and of itself. Many people have churned out trash music for longer than I have been alive and will continue to do so. The best that ChatGPT can hope for is to be the trash at the top of the heap. Is it ever going to create a musical masterpiece that stirs your soul? No, because it has no soul of it's own. It's the culmination of a million monkeys typing. Is it trying to destroy the process of creation? Maybe. Is it going to succeed? Not likely (IMO).
