However, because it utilized the same system as other frontpage items, I could go to each one and do "Do Not Recommend Channel" so they don't show up. I'd do this instead of hiding the shelf, and I think that that ruined those channels SEO because I bet a lot of people did the same thing.

Now, they've changed the shelves so that there's 2 clicks to look at any black tranny they're shoving in your face. They just make regular YouTube playlists and those playlists do not have any "Do Not Recommend" feature, neither on the playlist itself nor the videos in the playlist.

I would have loved to eavesdrop on the board meet where the product inclusivity director (a 26-year-old cat woman who identifies as bisexual despite being in a 6-year-long relationship with a guy named Mike who works in sales) had to have it explained to her that the most common reaction of users was to manually select Do Not Recommend on every channel shown to them.
