The war on free speech is on in western nations. Brazil sees X, like America sees TikTok. I'm not saying X or tiktok are the epitome of free speech, but to the dictators of the world, they are close enough. I dont know what everyone is looking at, but at this rate, soon all anyone will see is a totalitarian, fascist boot on your neck, no matter what country your in.
If you believe free speech is a human right, we need all hands on deck and we need a all in monolithic front, because the powers that be don't respect human rights, and we need to understand, asking them to acknowledge them is futile.
Free speech needs to be enforced by the world of the "have nots", cheerleading and likes won't move the needle.
No candidate or party will help you fight for this, this is a grassroots, elbow grease needing movement. If we don't sweat for it now, we will be sweating in the gulag for them...
