Sort of. This is about Google #Adsense.
We run some Goog ad boxes on the current iteration of CoffeeGeek, but I've been scaling them back. Historically the last 3yr, they barely make about $50 a month. The past three months we've seen a boost to about $100 a month (and that's with the scaled back usage).
The thing is, Goog adds a shit ton of weight to page loads, etc. They don't penalize sites for this (like they do with other slow load issues), but...
