I thought the whole point of the nsec/npub architecture was that only you control your nsec. And yet, this fountain_app (nprofile…3xgh) app wants it to connect to nostr.

How about No? Why can't I use my key to sign a message one time to verify its me? I'm not putting my key into your black box.
