Hi everyone!
Fassbinder takes Douglas Sirk’s All That Heaven Allows ( which we’ll hopefully show soon!) and truly makes it his own, though even stylistically he evokes Sirk here with his use of long tracking shots and controlled mise-en-scene — the use of colour is just superb.
This is one of Fassbinder’s finest films, and if you are not familiar with his work, after this you will want to watch it all!
