This is actually more attractive outside of social media than inside of it, but I think nobody noticed because the users until now have been social media fans.

For the reason that you don't have to personally identify people to interact with them, so if you get hacked, all they walk away with is a bunch of npubs. This reduces the anonymization burden on business archives. Or you can use the npub for identifying a person online and just never save it centrally.

Or you can communicate with your customers pseudoanonymously without e-mail, by DMing or @ing their npub.
