I’ve always felt for people who experience of any type, but I was surprised & disappointed to hear of the casual racism experienced by colleagues in shops etc. These were lovely, professional people, warm & friendly, competent at their job, which was to teach & support students in ours schools. (Not that respect shouldn’t be shown towards everyone, regardless of their employment status etc.)
