As you mentioned when the whole convo began, you are highly skeptical of claims of sexual assault. I would have described as “credibly accused of rape” - and that would have made you even more angry, because your intent is to dispute that the accusations have any credibility at all.

FYI: It is conventional wisdom in the US (among the non tech classes) he committed rape. Sweden didn’t have an extradition treaty with the US at the time, and yet he refused to go back for trial.
