I had to draggg my ass to the kitchen but, as it almost always does, cooking improved my mood. Dug out the gochujang (chilli paste) and gochugaru (chilli flakes). Added them to honey, sake, sesame oil and an enormous amount of microplaned garlic, as a marinade for the pork fillet Coles sent me as a substitute for smoked ham hock (hmm). When the rice-cooker is done I will stir-fry the pork and add green onions, sliced brown onion, and 1lb kimchi, before letting that all stew gently for 20 mins.
