The 90s were definitely raw! I think baseball may have peaked in some ways during that home run race between McGwire and Sosa in 1998. Then the steriod fallout sullied many peoples view of the game.
Streaming and all of the options available are definitely keeping many people at he watching from the comfort of their couch.

I hadn't been to a game in years despite living 10 minutes up the street.
I have to say though it was really fun to experience my son's first baseball game with him and my wife. Seeing his enjoyment and wonder brought the magic I felt as a kid back to life.
