I converted my iPhone to a dumb phone yesterday and only my friend has the password to make changes.
- Turned off Safari.
- Limited Twitter, Instagram, and Damus to 10 minutes total (I may increase this time limit).
- App installing still allowed (I may turn this off depending on if I see myself using it as a work around).
I have accepted for the time being that a Ulysses pact is the best way to reduce social media usage. I was hoping that I could reduce social media usage by simply growing in virtue but that hasn't really worked for me. Maybe it would in the future when I am more mature.
