Great article, I love how he isn't afraid to say what he thinks will happen. I'd disagree on some technology-related points however, where, in my opinion, Greer is too 'liberal arts' and not enough 'STEM'.

This is a good point in itself but wrong. You can make steel with lenses or induction smelters nowadays, and I don't see how insulation, electricity and glassware ALL go away forever. Plus you can salvage the steel we have practically forever, you don't need to take it out of the ground again.
Article really made me think about what tech can/should be saved into the future.
