i hope this comes across ok, a little trepidatious cos i dont even know what a dev does
from a humanities standpoint: there is easy to see from relative position dynamic & there is big picture & there is plain picture
if you want or need something & communicated that clearly & some devs did that & others didnt then yea id go with the ones who did that
if 'put a ring on it' means signing anything, on a personal level, tho i cant advise for others, tho to exist is to model behavior, so to a certain extent i am by nature of conducting my own life this way.. advising others .. yea i dont sign stuff im not an indentured servant or a lawyer. not have a lawyer. be one. & im not. & have no plans to be at this time. thus, i cannot sign things cos i only trust my lawyer skills.
finally, do you know that there is a backroom? a sidechat? a treehouse? do they talk there or is it a wack shed like they have on route 46 in jersey
what if they just share crispy memes? what if they are super passive aggressive in there? or just flat out mean? or it is like a weird art project of who can talk past each-other the most while ignoring everything the others are saying like a whole room just posturing how truly unbothered. or maybe they replicated ig in there. like if you were in there, you would hate it anyway & bounce within 5 minutes
