Got told last night I'm "too militant for Prides". I suppose they really are mostly sops for straight people to feel better about themselves now aren't they. Can't be making them uncomfortable!
Anyway, I'm on a little gulag stage ("Acoustic Stage") with other LBTQIA+ people today for Ilkley Pride, on about 7:45pm, while the drag queens, straight women and gay cishet men prance about on a big stage next door. My only Pride appearance of the year, which I'm doing as a favour for a friend.
