The fact that climate is changing needs to be baked into our life and consumer choices from here on out. The catchphrase of climate scientists "sooner than expected" are probably on stickynotes on their computers, so they can just cut and paste it into their latest findings.
The term "new normal" should be scrapped. Anything that references "normal" should be scrapped. This is nowhere near normal. Not even close.
Groundwater pumping has altered the Earth's axis by 31.5". Sea ice and glacial melt is on the edge of a runaway stage, and may already be there. El Nino is forecast to be historically strong. The AMOC has weakened drastically... affecting atmospheric currents, weather severity and drifting storm paths.
100 of the largest corporations emit 70% of the Earth's pollutants. We can't expect them to stop. We can only stop, slow, or restrict our purchasing from them. #Degrowth should be always at the front of our minds. 1/2
