If the court recognizes that #Israel’s actions in #Gaza may constitute violations of the #Genocide Convention, and that #Palestinians represent a protected group in Gaza, how can they sidestep the obvious remedy to the violations which is to order a cessation of #military action? Better than I feared, worse than I hoped. The #ICJ and the #UN continue to prove their insufficiency in the face of modern genocide.
