So I'm volunteering for Crisis Text Line and I've honestly found the training very helpful for my personal life so far. The Good Contact Techniques are so, so incredible.
One of the ones, Strength IDs, is helpful for if you are talking to someone and they're self-deprecating, or feel like they're not good enough.
You identify a strength of theirs that you've noticed based solely on the info they've given you in the convo so far. And that makes it more credible.
