My dad tells me a lot about life in Cuba before he came here in 1980. Due to rationing, the malnutrition forced him to start wearing dentures in is 20s. He had peanut butter for the 1st time here & said it was the most wonderful thing he'd ever tasted. Cuba's a bit worse now after the pandemic. Scheduled blackouts, shortage of everything.
