German economy to rebound once reforms take hold, finance minister Christian Lindner says

German finance minister Christian Lindner predicts an "economic upturn" for the German economy once new labour market and corporation tax reforms are implemented and more private investment is secured. His view is supported by Irish finance minister Michael McGrath, who says that the resilience of the German economy is not in question. Lindner also believes that countries should be able to compete on tax within reason and that new EU corporate tax rules should be wisely considered.
