Ok, that makes a lot of sense.


My strategy is usually to let the plants do whatever they want during veg. Only thing I do after a few nodes it to top. After topping, all other lower branches race up and space themselves out on their own trying to position themselves for the best sunlight.

Then I start snapping all the branches. I keep snapping as long as they are snappable. They may look like they are broken and falling apart but that’s temporary. The branches then heal and harden to the point where it takes a lot of weight to pull them down.

During flower, I just trip the lower part of each branch.
