Sounds like some right-wing fever dream. In reality, the so called “Americans” with “American” values, many who are descendants of the colonizers who originated this violent settler state, are facing a deterioration of their livelihoods. Be it economic or otherwise, I don’t think I will be sad to see the results of institutionalized ignorance and bigotry slowly fade to irrelevancy. It’s not fair that elites lied to people to control them, but it’s also not fair the hateful-spawn and pseudo-Christians and white nationalists get to terrorize people and claim a land their ancestors genocided their way to power in. The American myth needs deconstruction and confrontation with its violent reality, perhaps inflicted upon the true believers, until we as a nation can begin to establish justice, the so-called principles which the Preamble enshrines.
