I get your point but I think you picked a bad example. The poop with tapeworms is probably more gross. If someone held a gun to my head and made me pick, I would pick the poop without tapeworms.

If this is an analogy to voting in our political system, you should vote for the candidate you think is less bad (poop without tapeworms) while actively trying to either change the system, subvert the system, or build an alternative system people can opt into.

I like agorism for this reason, as it builds a parallel system people can opt into. But while this parallel system is being built, you should still partake in the existing system since its outcomes still affect you.
