I took DONA's postpartum doula workshop winter 2020 and chest feeding devices were reviewed in the context of mothers unable to breastfeed using them to imitate the experience and get skin-to-skin contact/bonding time. 'Gender neutral' language was not included at the time. Crazy how fast things change.
Never completed the DONA certification because I didn't want to pay the membership fees and commit to the continuing education.
