Curiosity is Rare in adulthood.
If you keep your mental focus on a single subject and context, you are more likely to feel as if you have mastery of the world that you think you know. This is what is meant when it is said that many stop living when they are 25. For achieving the kingdom that others demand and expect you to achieve, requires ignoring everything else that would have otherwise led you down strange meandering pathways, towards discovering profound depths as yet to be uncovered.
To be a functional adult, one is almost expected to despise or fear not the unknown itself, but of being engulfed by the wonder of it all without knowing how or if one wants to return.
