No, you do not. You made a fundamental error.

You think that if the government says it is not a political crime, the judge will decide is it not a political crime.

I don’t give AF about Assange. He released political donors with credit card information claiming donor information and to be on the record, even though donor information is already on the record and has been decades, released responsibly sans credit and banking info, for decades. He can burn as far as I care - that one he would have a hard time claiming was political. That’s just flat out crime.

But that was after he holed himself in the embassy, claiming Sweden (not a member of NATO, nor appealing to become one at that time) would turn him over to the US, but somehow the UK, with its long record of sharing intel with the US, wouldn’t.

So, my naive lad, this is my last comment on this absolute time waster of a thread. I suggest you figure out what a defense lawyer does, and what Assange’s timeline is, and why only some people get pissy when a man credibly accused of rape gets called a rapist.
