This is my 1st post in Nostr and also, a little mile stone amidst comfy. I'm SolearLain, the Illustrator who play FFXIV, Arknights and want to spread comfy all over the world!
Three months ago, I opened commission. While things went on, I felt like there's something big hiding in my complacency, then I found out my art still lacks free-flow and something... I can't quite explain.
After some back and forth thinking, it's essential that my subconscious shout out a strong need to improve my fundamentals, whether it's anatomy or lack of flow composition, etc.
So I went back to basics and started doing art practice like the time when I'm still a little student in drawing class to achieve more solidity in my illustration.
so that I could sketch faster.
so that I could anatomize my child precisely,
so that I shall reach the "Perfect Instinct."
to the point of painting without thought like a flood of mind.
In a fleeting moment, doing it becomes my chore, jinx into my vain, my daily, and my way of life.
For at least a year, I think I wouldn't be able to stop.
The path to my absolute will be the everlasting quest, yet it would be humble, as long as I live I shall draw.
Such a thing called an artist is the one-way trip, so let there be no way back.
