Fair enough. Although that does highlight another problem I have with the medical industrial complex: how they're always hellbent on selling someone a drug or procedure without much of an explanation about what it entails. If you get a knee replacement, they give you a full play by play before you agree to it. Sure, Lasik or Ozempic are less involved, but I think that kind of education is necessary for informed consent. Doctors could do much better.
