Just finished reading "Future proofing you" by Jay Samit. This book is aimed at budding entrepreneurs and those looking to kickstart their startups. The book takes you on journey of a young man who made $1M in one year. Along the way, the author lays out twelve different "truths" about being successful as an entrepreneur. From building a strong character to improving negotiation skills, the author has carefully chosen the main problems people face on their way to success. The book has tons of success stories from the world of startups. The book ends with an appeal to build sustainable businesses that care for the planet.
Personally, I hate people who introduce a famous person as their friend. "The other evening I had dinner with my friend Christopher Nolan." The author loves to do it this way. Absolutely hated this. But that's a personal preference.
I would rate this book 4/5 and recommend people to read it thoroughly. Quite a few gems in there.
