Installing the native apps and making an npub/nsec is easy. Seeing content is also easy. Unfortunately it’s hard to get from the global feed which is mostly Bitcoiners posts to other kinds of users / content is hard. Some apps like YakiHonne (npub1yzv…rf8q) do make interesting attempts at directing users to different content. Learning how to use a browser extension to access nostr web apps is hard. So is understanding that you’ve got keys and not an account on a server.
To me the biggest issue is new users join and we’re not making sure their first “hello world” type posts are getting interaction. Folks join and feel ignored and leave.
