for a verification system to tackle impersonation, could we not replicate keybase’s model?
have links to tweets/reddit posts/dns txt/etc to prove ownership of your website and other social media accounts.
that proof could be some signature produced with your nsec key.
then the “verified check” is just a nice UI to a linktree-like page with all your affiliate socials and websites with a link for each proof so your client can wget and check sigs and show a big fat ✅.
