Yes, I've heard good things about it. Most people from åland I met have been very nice and polite, and since I like fishing, it seems like there are good fishing places there as well. =)
As for jobs, I work 100% remote, so as long as there is internet that should be fine.
One of the guys I know has a small apartment in a suburb of stockholm and has worked all his life for companies in stockholm commuting back and forth by ferry/car.
