I am super-duper sensitive to notifications on my devices. What once seemed fine is now incredibly trivial (and therefore annoying to me).
Perhaps this started as soon as iPhone became more of a serious product, with Health, Home, and Wallet. Those notifications feel very important. And so the context of seeing very important notifications adjacent to very trivial ones make me bothered to see the trivial ones in the same space.
