All of our society believed in social contagions, which is why our parents would tell us “don’t hang around that kid, he’s a bad influence.” Because they did not want this behavior rubbing off on others, and this wasn’t just limited to children. It was limited to media, it was limited to everything our senses could capture that could be seen as negative or possibly foment thinking patterns that go against familial tradition, sense and ultimately survival.
Suddenly past the year 2007, we’ve been told to neglect our instincts, to throw out the “old science” and make way for the new way of doing things, which is accepting everything with absolutely no caution or sense and to be as open-minded to any possibility, no matter how insane or antithetical it is to the ultimate goals of survival and reaching the biological imperative.
