If there are real aliens, and they look the way the are usually described - with two arms, two legs and a pair of eyeballs on the head - then obviously they must be our evolutionary cousins, perhaps descendants from previous civilization. Very very unlikely to be so similar to primates and located in the same place at the same time like us yet not related genetically.
