What do you mean by “custodial”. I don’t think Damus is talking about doing anything custodial, I think they’re talking about embedding a non-custodial lightning wallet inside Damus using LDK or Breez’s SDK.
Also “If twitter lets you buy/sell these coins for BTC” … that’s a pretty big “if”. That means Twitter, Inc. would have to become a crypto exchange and stand up an entire new business (legal, compliance, reporting to .gov in X countries). I don’t think that’s gonna happen when Musk is focused on cost cuts.
