I did a big scary thing today and was really anxious. The person I was meeting with knows I'm #ActuallyAutistic. Their nephew is as well.
I didn't have to explain anything. I didn't feel the need to mask a lot.
Went in a ball of nerves and when leaving they said "you are a completely different person since you came in here", "Yeah, I'm relaxed now", "I can tell. There is nothing to worry about".
And I believe them. Really put my mind at ease
