This is glorious but it needs some extras:
1. Wooden frame? Don't paint it grey—it needs to be mahogany or oak held together with brass fixings!
2. Moar gears.
3. Needs a punch so it can write as well as read tape—maybe use a (fully enclosed) laser to burn holes in the paper?
