That's sweet. I'll think about it. Maybe next winter? LOL. I had a great one crocheted by a radfem from the Island but I left it in a taxi last winter. It was like a quite exaggerated tam. It could be poofed up into a kind of folded peak.
It was pure wool though and I had to line it with some old velvet from a whiskey bag and then it was excellent.
