I'm at an appointment to get my Mum qualified for a new wheelchair, and the fucking hoops they make these people jump through is insane. The insurance can deny her for the wheelchair she already uses every day, so they have to have all this proof that she needs the things that she clearly uses. And then they have to have the exact and specific language so it isn't denied, for a thing she absolutely has to have to survive. Luckily, the people involved are doing their best to get my Mum what she needs in a broken system. I'm hoping for the best.
