View count would indicate that someone clicked on the note n perhaps enhanced it, it’s definitely not taking into account people seeing it and scrolling past it and not interacting with it (the action of clicking on the note itself n enlarging it)

We can ask Vitor Pamplona (npub1gcx…nj5z) exactly how that view count works but my assumption seems to be correct on that, I don’t see how it could “count” me seeing it unless I actually open the note inside the thread (thus interacting) instead of just scrolling past it (doesn’t count it)
