A previous employer had a customer angry at how quickly our parts were failing. All kinds of circuit boards failed, in a quarter of the time we were seeing elsewhere.
Looking at the returned parts, we noticed there was significant corrosion. Air quality tests proved that the air in the facility was full of nasty things eating away at the electronics.
The worst part? People worked there, breathing that air.
