I really wanna like #nostr, but it really just seems to be a #conservative shithole plus #bitcoin. Bitcoin is cool, but I have other interests, too. I have seen SO FUCKING MANY complete failures to understand basic political concepts like #socialism and #communisms or basic ass #science, and every one of the idiots is fully convinced it's the *other* side that doesn't understand. This place feels like the Dunning Kruger effect personified. The concept of nostr is so cool, but it's so tiring to wade through all the chuds in hope of finding someone to positively interact with, let alone follow.
