This sheepskin has shades of creams and whites and few faint black dots. It has a low pile similar to a goat hide, rather than a deep fluffy fleece—Perfect for the back of your favorite living room chair or across a bench. * Note the hole in the bottom right in the image of the back side of hide. *
It was tanned at Vermont Natural Tannery in Manchester, VT, using their proprietary all-natural, vegetable-tanning process. VNT achieves beautiful results without the use of toxic chemicals, odors, or irritants that are standard in industrial tanning. They are one of only two such tanneries in North America.
