All the severe accidents all happen with illegal firework. Now the storage of large quantities of fireworks has been a debate for years, but as long as certain safety measures are followed, not much can happen. I live really close to one of these firework storages and if it were to explode, I'll be homeless if the doom scenario plays out like on paper anyways, which I honestly doubt, considering the bunker everything is stored in (I've been inside it). I never fear this. Why? I know it's bs. They're only saying this, because they want to make fireworks for consumers illegal for various reasons, many which I totally agree with. Point is, just make it damn illegal then. Plenty countries where consumers can't play with fireworks and in the end it's manageable, kind of I think/guess whatever. Just do it. Most people are in favor of making it illegal anyways.
