I recently started to run in barefoot shoes. They are build so that the shoe offers only protection, but no correction. Thus i run how evolution made us to run most efficiently. Studies show that our feet has evolved for running and not walking. This goes together with that hunter gatherers runned after they pray till the overheated. Because of sweating we can run farter distances than any animal. And thus we can "outrun" them to death by overheating.
